Project Details
Kaplan Paving recently completed a spectacular project in Morton Grove, IL, featuring a combination of asphalt and brick pavers. The job presented several challenges, including a difficult pitched driveway and necessary drainage adjustments. Techo-Bloc Blu 60 HD2 slabs in Chestnut were used for the new walkway, while the concrete steps and porch were covered with Techo-Bloc Venetian and Blu 45 overlay, creating a grand entrance.
Due to the driveway’s pitch toward the garage, a trench drain and drainage system were installed to divert water away from the property. This required numerous meetings with the Village of Morton Grove to get permits approved, but the Kaplan team’s effort paid off. The final result is absolutely stunning, and the client was thrilled.
