New Driveway with Expansion in Deerfield

With a new driver in the house, the homeowner at 1122 Montgomery Dr, Deerfield, IL, needed additional parking space to the right of their existing driveway. This project presented a unique challenge due to the concrete walkway on the right, which included a step-down.

After the homeowner removed a bush, Kaplan Paving removed a portion of the concrete walkway and regraded the area to accommodate the new parking pad. This pad features a two-lift, 3″ compacted asphalt driveway, ensuring superior compaction for regular use. The main driveway is a one-lift, 2″ compacted asphalt surface. The project was completed in Spring 2024.
